After travelling the world and residing in various countries, the client returned to Melbourne and wanted to create a home that is both inviting and luxurious, equally suitable for relaxing and entertaining. The apartment is in an iconic Melbourne building on the famous tree-lined boulevard of St Kilda Road. Originally two apartments, the space has been recreated into a luxurious penthouse, providing 180 degree views over Melbourne and Port Phillip Bay beyond.

The client owns an extensive art collection and this was the starting point for the design concept. HBA designers set out to create a neutral and elegant backdrop for the client’s diverse collection of art and artefacts. Silk wall panelling, metal inlay trims, luxurious marbles, custom detailing and designer furniture pieces contribute to the elegantly curated home.
