The Lotus Padam Door
The brass ground holds its warmth as oxidised filigree sweeps across in a grand arc, each interval of gold beading placed with considered intention. Scalloped arches of mother-of-pearl rise from below, carrying lotus blooms in rose quartz and burnished gold. Padam and Kalash rest within the composition with the quiet authority of forms that have always occupied their place, holding the whole with ancient certainty.
